PORTIONS OF THE SOUTHERN SOUTH PLAINS AND LOW ROLLING PLAINS LATE
THIS AFTERNOON. WIND SPEEDS 10-15 MPH WERE OCCURRING...WHICH HAS
DECLINED FROM EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON...HOWEVER ABOVE NORMAL
TEMPERATURES AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES LESS THAN 15
PERCENT...HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE MARGINAL FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS. WILL EXPECT WIND SPEEDS TO DECLINE FURTHER AROUND
SUNSET...LEADING TO IMPROVED CONDITIONS. A FIRE DANGER STATEMENT
HAS EXPIRED. MODEST COOLING OVERNIGHT WILL RESULT IN HUMIDITIES
RECOVERING IN THE 40-65 PERCENT RANGE. ABOVE NORMAL
WARMTH...HUMIDITIES FALLING TO 10-15 PERCENT AND 20-FOOT WEST TO
SOUTHWEST WIND SPEEDS OF 15-25 MPH WILL OCCUR TOMORROW AFTERNOON
