FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR THE SOUTH PLAINS REGION
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LUBBOCK TX
634 AM CST MON MAR 2 2015

.DISCUSSION...
FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS WILL BE LOW FOR ONE MORE DAY AS COLD AND
DAMP CONDITIONS EXIST THIS MORNING...AND THEN WE WARM ABOVE
FREEZING THIS AFTERNOON WHICH WILL MELT ANY LEFT OVER ICE AND
SNOW INCREASING FUEL MOISTURE CONTENT. BY TUESDAY...WARMER
TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN STORE WITH A DRY WEST WIND BUT FIRE
WEATHER CONCERNS WILL BE LOW THANKS TO THE COLD AND WET
CONDITIONS WE HAVE HAD. ANOTHER FRONT WILL ARRIVE ON WEDNESDAY
BRINGING COLDER AND POSSIBLY WETTER CONDITIONS ONCE AGAIN.
