FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR THE SOUTH PLAINS AREA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LUBBOCK TX
310 PM CDT WED APR 27 2016

.DISCUSSION...
WE WILL SEE OUR USUAL SPRING TIME DRYLINE SET UP WITH WARM AND DRY
CONDITIONS ON THE CAPROCK WITH MORE MOIST CONDITIONS OFF THE
CAPROCK FOR THURSDAY. THE DRYLINE WILL PUSH FARTHER OFF THE
CAPROCK ON FRIDAY ALLOWING DRIER AIR TO SPREAD OVER A LARGE
PORTION OF THE REGION. STRONG WINDS SWEEPING INTO THE SOUTH PLAINS
WILL LIKELY ALLOW FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TO BECOME ELEVATED.
HOWEVER...A RED FLAG WARNING IS NOT ANTICIPATED GIVEN THE GREENUP
OF FUELS.
