PERSIST ACROSS THE NORTHERN SOUTH PLAINS AND SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE EXTENDING INTO THE NORTHERN ROLLING PLAINS. SOME OF THE
HEAVIER RAIN STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF RAINFALL RATES OVER ONE
INCH PER HOUR. WITH SOIL ALREADY SATURATED...PONDING WILL BE
POSSIBLE IN LOW LYING AREAS. STREET FLOODING IS ALSO POSSIBLE AND
MAY RENDER SOME ROADS IMPASSABLE ESPECIALLY IN RURAL AREAS. EXTREME
CAUTION SHOULD BE USED WHEN COMMUTING.
