DEVELOP ACROSS THE SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS. A RUMBLE OF
THUNDER COULD ALSO MIX IN. AT 915 AM...THE GREATEST CONCENTRATION
OF SHOWERS WERE LOCATED ALONG AND SOUTH OF A BROWNFIELD TO RANSOM
CANYON TO ROARING SPRINGS TO CHALK LINE...MOVING WESTWARD AROUND
10 MPH. THESE SHOWER WILL BRING LOCALIZED DOWNPOURS. HOURLY
RAINFALL TOTALS OF A QUARTER TO HALF INCH WILL BE COMMON...WITH
ISOLATED ONE INCH PLUS AMOUNTS. MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR
PONDING OF WATER ON THE ROADWAYS AND LOW VISIBILITIES WHEN
ENCOUNTERING THE STRONGER SHOWERS. THE RAIN MAY ALSO AGGRAVATE ANY
FLOODING FROM EARLIER RAINS.
