EXPECT STRONG WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH...SMALL HAIL AND BRIEF
DOWNPOURS WITH THESE STORMS. ANY OF THESE STORMS COULD INTENSIFY
TO SEVERE LEVELS THROUGH THIS EVENING.

PLAINS THROUGH 930 PM. THE STORMS WILL MOVE NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH ALONG
OR NEAR U S HIGHWAY 62 AND 385 AND BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE
HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING. LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL WILL ALSO RESULT IN RAPID PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS
AND HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORM
DEVELOPMENT WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE SOUTHERN SOUTH PLAINS
THROUGH TONIGHT.
