.NOW...
Through 8 am...widespread light to moderate rain with embedded
pockets of heavy rain and a few rumbles of thunder will continue
to move eastward out of the eastern South Plains into the
southeast Texas Panhandle and Rolling Plains. Rainfall rates of a
tenth to quarter inch an hour will be common with localized rates
of a half inch to inch. Motorists should be alert for reduced
visibilities and ponding of water on roadways and slow down
accordingly. Several spots that will be affected by the heavier
rain include Northfield, McAdoo, White River Lake and Justiceburg.
