Through 7 pm...isolated to widely scattered showers and
thunderstorms will continue to affect the southwest Texas
Panhandle into the western South Plains. At 6 pm, one strong
storm was located near Bootleg, moving southeast at 10 mph.
Another small cluster of showers and thunderstorms were located
over central and southern Bailey County and northern Cochran
County, edging east around 10 mph. The strongest storms will be
capable of brief heavy rain, gusty winds to 50 mph, occasional
cloud to ground lightning and perhaps small hail.
