Through 10:30 pm...widely scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms will affect the southwest Texas Panhandle and
western South Plains. The strongest storms will be capable of
brief downpours, small hail, cloud to ground lightning and wind
gusts of 40 to 50 mph. Although most spots will remain dry, a few
locations could see a few hundredths to a couple tenths of an inch
of rain as the activity moves northeast at 30 mph. Locations that
may be affected include in or near Friona, Summerfield, Muleshoe
and Plains.
