TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST SOUTH PLAINS AND SOUTHERN ROLLING
PLAINS. AT 6 PM...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS
STRETCHED FROM NEAR SOUTHLAND TO JUSTICEBURG...WITH ANOTHER AREA
OF MORE INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS FROM NEAR CLAIREMONT AND JAYTON
SOUTHEAST THROUGH ROTAN. THIS ACTIVITY WAS DEVELOPING
NORTHEASTWARD AROUND 15 MPH. BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING...SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS TO 45 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE
WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS. THE HEAVY RAIN WILL ALSO REDUCE
VISIBILITY AND CAUSE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAY. MOTORISTS SHOULD
USE EXTRA CAUTION IF TRAVELING THROUGH THE STORMS THIS EVENING. IF
OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER INSIDE A STURDY BUILDING IF A THUNDERSTORM
APPROACHES YOUR AREA.
