Through 5 PM, widespread light to moderate rain will expand slowly
northeast from the South Plains into the Rolling Plains...with
numerous showers and some thunderstorms near the Highway 83
corridor. Hourly rainfall rates up to 1/3 inch will be possible
with this precipitation. Farther northwest, some very light sleet
or light freezing rain will remain possible particularly from
Friona to Dimmitt where temperatures are at or near freezing.
