THROUGH 5 AM...SEVERAL BANDS OF SHOWERS WILL MOVE NORTHWARD ACROSS
THE SOUTH PLAINS AND WESTERN ROLLING PLAINS. THE MOST PERSISTENT
AREA OF RAINFALL HAS BEEN BETWEEN BROWNFIELD AND TAHOKA...WITH
THIS ACTIVITY EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO EASTERN HOCKLEY AND LUBBOCK
COUNTIES. ADDITIONAL AREAS OF MODERATE RAIN WILL MOVE INTO THE
SOUTHERN SOUTH PLAINS AND SOUTHWESTERN ROLLING PLAINS FROM THE
NORTHERN PERMIAN BASIN. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO ONE QUARTER OF
AN INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE WHILE MOST LOCATIONS WILL GENERALLY SEE
AROUND A TENTH OF AN INCH OR LESS FROM ANY ONE SHOWER THAT PASSES
OVERHEAD.
