Through 9 AM...
Two areas of rain showers and thunderstorms are affecting the
region. The first is across the southeast Texas Panhandle and
northern Rolling Plains. The second spans across the southern
Rolling Plains. This activity may expand somewhat through mid-
morning as it moves southeast near 25 mph. Brief heavy rain and
lightning will be the primary threats.
