Conditions have become more favorable for thunderstorm development
across the western South Plains and southwestern Texas Panhandle.
Some of these storms will become strong with hail to the size of
nickels and wind gusts to 55 mph. Some risk will also exist for a
few storms to briefly become severe. This activity will move
northeast near 30 mph.
