THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND
NORTHEASTERN SOUTH PLAINS INTO THE SOUTH-CENTRAL TEXAS PANHANDLE.
AT 430 PM...THE ISOLATED ACTIVITY EXTENDED FROM EAST OF ABERNATHY
TO NEAR LOCKNEY TO MACKENZIE RESERVOIR. THIS ACTIVITY WAS DRIFTING
NORTHWEST AROUND 5 MPH. EXPECT BRIEF HEAVY RAINS...GUSTY WINDS TO
40 MPH AND OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING WITH THE STRONGEST
STORMS. THE HEAVY RAIN WILL CAUSE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS AND
AGGRAVATE ANY AREAL FLOODING EXISTING FROM EARLIER HEAVY RAINS.
