Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will move north-
northeast at 30 mph across the far southwest Texas Panhandle
through 11:30 pm. Rainfall up to 1/8 inch may accompany the
thunderstorms. Some icing is also possible on elevated surfaces
in Swisher County. Widespread fog will persist region wide with
visibilities occasionally as low as one block. Motorists should be
alert for wet and slick roadways as well as low visibility and
slow down accordingly.

Areas of drizzle, fog and light rain showers will continue to
affect most of the South Plains, Rolling Plains and southeast
Texas Panhandle through 11:30 pm. Areas along and east of the
Interstate 27 and Highway 87 corridor will remain at or just below
freezing which will result in additional light glazing of ice on
elevated surfaces including bridges, overpasses, trees, powerlines
and vehicles. Motorists should be alert for wet and slick roadways
as well as low visibility and slow down accordingly.
