THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LUBBOCK HAS ISSUED A WIND
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING. THE
HIGH WIND WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

* TIMING...THE UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM HAS SLOWED AND ALLOWED AN
  INCREASE IN MID LEVEL MOISTURE WHICH HAS REDUCED THE RISK OF
  WIDE AREAS OF SUSTAINED WINDS ABOVE 40 MPH.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST TURNING WESTERLY THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON FROM
  30 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH.

* IMPACTS...WINDS WILL MAKE DRIVING CONDITIONS MORE DIFFICULT
  ESPECIALLY ON NORTH TO SOUTH ORIENTED ROADWAYS. ALSO...LOCALIZED AREAS
  OF REDUCED VISIBILITY ARE LIKELY FROM BLOWING DUST.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WINDS OF 30 TO 39 MPH ARE
