SOUTHERN SOUTH PLAINS THROUGH 12 NOON...

AT 1030 AM...REPORTS ACROSS THE AREA INDICATED THAT LOCALLY DENSE
FOG CONTINUED TO PERSIST ACROSS MUCH OF THE SOUTH
PLAINS...GENERALLY FROM LUBBOCK COUNTY SOUTHWARD. WIDESPREAD
VISIBILITIES OF 1 MILE OR LESS WITH POCKETS OF A QUARTER MILE WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH THE LATE MORNING...WITH GRADUALLY IMPROVEMENT
EXPECTED AFTER NOON. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN...INCREASE
DISTANCE BETWEEN VEHICLES...AND USE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WHEN
ENCOUNTERING DENSE FOG.
