...SNOW AND RAIN EXPECTED THROUGH SATURDAY...

A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL SPREAD PRECIPITATION ACROSS THE SOUTH
PLAINS AND EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN PANHANDLE TODAY THROUGH SATURDAY.
THE PRECIPITATION WILL LIKELY TAKE THE FORM OF SNOW ACROSS THE
EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN PANHANDLE WITH RAIN AT TIMES MIXING WITH SNOW
ACROSS THE SOUTH PLAINS. THE ONLY ACCUMULATION OF SNOW IS EXPECTED
TO OCCUR ACROSS THE FAR SOUTHWESTERN PANHANDLE WHERE 1 TO 3 INCHES
OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE...GENERALLY ALONG AND WEST OF A MULESHOE TO
SUMMERFIELD LINE. HOWEVER...AFTER THE RECENT WARMTH AND WITH
TEMPERATURES STRUGGLING TO GET MUCH BELOW THE FREEZING MARK...
ACCUMULATION WILL BE MOST PREVALENT ON GRASSY AREAS WHILE PAVED
ROADWAYS WILL LIKELY REMAIN MOSTLY WET.
