URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...THE SNOWFALL CONTINUES THIS EVENING...

.AREAS ACROSS THE SOUTH PLAINS...SOUTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE AND
NORTHERN ROLLING PLAINS HAVE LARGELY TRANSITIONED TO ALL SNOW
WHILE SLEET WAS STILL BEING REPORTED ACROSS THE SOUTHERN ROLLING
PLAINS. ONE TO TWO INCHES OF SNOWFALL HAS FALLEN IN A BAND FROM
BROWNFIELD TO MEMPHIS WITH MORE ON THE WAY. IT IS EXPECTED THAT
PRECIPITATION WILL BECOME MORE SHOWERY IN NATURE LATER THIS
AFTERNOON BEFORE ANOTHER ROUND THIS EVENING WHERE ANOTHER INCH OF
ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE. AREA SNOW TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD
RANGE FROM ONE TO THREE INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AND LOWER
AMOUNTS. SKIES ARE EXPECTED TO CLEAR BY SUNRISE ON THURSDAY WITH A
FEW HOURS OF ABOVE-FREEZING TEMPERATURES EXPECTED.

* TIMING...SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH LATE THIS
  EVENING THOUGH A FEW LULLS MAY EXIST NEAR SUNSET. SLEET ACROSS
  THE ROLLING PLAINS SHOULD TRANSITION TO SNOW LATE THIS AFTERNOON
  OR EARLY THIS EVENING.

* MAIN IMPACT...LIGHT TO OCCASIONALLY MODERATE SNOW IS EXPECTED
  WITH AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES OF SNOW THROUGH LATE THIS
  EVENING. SNOW TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM ONE
  TO THREE INCHES.

* OTHER IMPACTS...ICY AND SNOW COVERED ROADWAYS WILL RESULT IN
  HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS. FURTHERMORE...RATHER BREEZY NORTH
  WINDS MAY CAUSE AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW AND RESTRICT VISIBILITIES.
  THE COLD AIR MASS AND BREEZY CONDITIONS WILL DROP WIND CHILL
  VALUES INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS FROM THE FAR SOUTHERN TEXAS
  PANHANDLE INTO THE CENTRAL SOUTH PLAINS.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
