...COASTAL FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BALTIMORE MD/WASHINGTON HAS
CANCELLED THE COASTAL FLOOD WATCH.

* TIDAL ANOMALY...AROUND 1 TO 2 FEET ABOVE NORMAL TIDE THIS
  EVENING DUE TO FRESHWATER. NEAR 2 FT ABOVE NORMAL TIDE POSSIBLE
  FRIDAY DUE TO FRESHWATER.

* TIMING...AROUND THE TIME OF THE ONGOING HIGH TIDE. MINOR
  INUNDATION WOULD BE POSSIBLE NEAR HIGH TIDES ON FRIDAY AS WELL.
  THE NEXT HIGH TIDES AT WASHINGTON CHANNEL WILL BE AT 5:15 AM AND
  5:24 PM.

* EXPECTED IMPACTS...MINOR FLOODING OF THE GEORGETOWN BOARDWALK
  AND EAST POTOMAC PARK EARLY THIS EVENING.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.
