THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BALTIMORE MD/WASHINGTON HAS
ISSUED A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO
11 AM EST FRIDAY.

* TIDAL ANOMALY...AROUND 2 TO 3 FEET ABOVE ASTRONOMICAL TIDE
  LEVELS.

* TIMING...NEAR HIGH TIDE...WHICH WILL BE PROLONGED BY FRESH WATER
  COMING DOWN THE POTOMAC. HIGH TIDE AT THE WASHINGTON CHANNEL
  WILL BE AT 5:15 AM.

* EXPECTED IMPACTS...MINOR INUNDATION NEAR THE GEORGETOWN
  BOARDWALK.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.
