This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Gusty winds and low humidity will result in an elevated risk for
wildfire spread through this evening.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
The threat for wildfire spread increases each day through
Thursday as gusty winds and low relative humidity continue. The
worst conditions are likely Wednesday afternoon.
A Fire Weather Watch is in effect from Wednesday late morning to
Wednesday evening for the Washington DC Metro south to the
Fredericksburg area.
