This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and adjacent counties in
central Maryland and northern Virginia as well as the District of
Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms are expected over the waters late this
afternoon and evening. A few thunderstorms will be capable of
producing gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected
Friday afternoon through Saturday. Scattered incidents of flash
flooding are possible from torrential downpours. Isolated severe
thunderstorms are possible as well on Friday with damaging winds
being the primary threat.

A Gale Warning may be needed for portions of the waters Saturday
afternoon through Saturday night.
