This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and adjacent counties in
central Maryland and northern Virginia as well as the District of
Columbia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 8 pm. The main
threat is isolated to scattered damaging wind gusts. Isolated
tornadoes and locally large hail are also possible.

A flash flood watch is in effect from 3 PM until 9 PM for the
entire Baltimore and Washington metro areas. Thunderstorms will
be capable of producing intense rainfall in a short period of
time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

northern and central Virginia, and central and western Maryland
with the exception of Garrett County.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for the Shenandoah
Valley and west-central Maryland and east until 8 pm. The main
threat is isolated to scattered damaging wind gusts. Isolated
tornadoes and locally large hail are also possible.

There is a flash flood watch in effect for northeast Maryland from
3 PM until 9 PM. Thunderstorms will be capable of producing
intense rainfall in a short period of time.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
