...Growing Season starting early again this year...

The month of February 2017 was extraordinarily warm. While March
2017 has been near normal, the warmth during February has pushed
most plants to start growing notably earlier than normal. Many
plants are currently about as far ahead of normal this year as
they were last year.

Therefore...for the majority of our County Warning Area (CWA),
frost and freeze products will begin to be issued on April 1st
again this year. Normally, frost and freeze products would not
start until April 11th across most of our area, but the advance
growth necessitates an earlier start again this year.
