Fire Weather Planning Forecast For A Large Part of Arkansas
National Weather Service Little Rock AR
433 AM CST Wed Feb 21 2018

.Discussion...A cold front will continue pushing south through
Arkansas today, eventually stalling in the far southeast or
northern Louisiana. Areas of rain and isolated thunderstorms
will continue north of the front through tonight, with the
heaviest rain across the southeast half of the state. There may be
a brief lull on Thursday before the front heads back to the
north. This will bring another round of rain Thursday night and
Friday, especially over the northern and western counties. It will
remain unsettled this weekend, with a final round of showers and
thunderstorms Saturday night and Sunday. This will be triggered by
a storm system from the Plains. Dry weather will follow early
next week.
