COVERED IN LOW SPOTS AND TYPICALLY FLOOD PRONE LOCATIONS OF THE
TRI-VILLAGES, SOUTH END OF AVON, AND EASTERN HATTERAS VILLAGE.
SATURATED SOILS FROM RECENT RAINFALL COMBINED WITH TWO TO THREE
INCHES OF RAIN FROM TROPICAL STORM COLIN ALSO LEAD TO MINOR FLOODING
OF LOW-LYING AREAS, MAINLY SOUTH OF RODANTHE TO HATTERAS VILLAGE.
CARTERET...RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF TWO TO FOUR INCHES LEAD TO MINOR
FLOODING OF ROADWAYS ACROSS THE COUNTY WITH MINIMAL IMPACTS.
