...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN JONES...ONSLOW AND
SOUTHEASTERN DUPLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 530 AM EDT...

At 450 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Cypress Creek to near Surf City to near Topsail
Beach. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. These thunderstorms have a history
         of producing 40 to 50 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Weather observations.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Jacksonville, North Topsail Beach, New River Station, Pumpkin Center,
Piney Green, Half Moon, Camp Lejeune Center, Richlands, Beulaville,
Catherine Lake, Folkstone, Kellum, Cypress Creek, Midway Park,
Verona, Dixon, Chinquapin, Potters Hill, Petersburg, and Onslow
Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
