.Discussion...
High pressure will remain in place this weekend and into next
week. The east coast sea breeze will form each day and push
inland during the afternoons resulting in a sea breeze collision
each evening across the interior or western portion of the
peninsula. Isolated to scattered showers and lightning storms will
be possible each afternoon, especially across the western
interior where the sea breeze collision will occur. Light east to
southeast winds in the morning will increase to 10-12 mph behind
the sea breeze each afternoon, with gusts up to 20 mph possible.
Min RH values will be in the upper 30s to low 40s each afternoon
over the interior and hold near 55 percent along the coast. Smoke
dispersion values will be Very Good today and Sunday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
