.Discussion...
High pressure will remain in place through the weekend and into
early next week. The east coast sea breeze will form each
afternoon and push inland. Due to the stout onshore flow, the
sea breeze collision will occur across the western interior,
or into the western portion of the peninsula. Isolated to scattered
showers and lightning storms will be possible each afternoon,
especially across the western interior where the sea breeze
collision will occur. Light easterly winds in the morning will
increase to 10-12 mph behind the sea breeze each afternoon,
with gusts up to 20 mph possible. Min RH values will be in the
upper 30s to low 40s each afternoon. Smoke dispersion values
will be very good Saturday and Sunday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
