...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM THIS MORNING
TO MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected, mainly this afternoon into this
  evening. The snow may mix with freezing rain or freezing drizzle
  at times, especially in Menominee county south of highway US-2.
  Plan on difficult travel conditions, especially during the
  evening commute today. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 8
  inches are expected with lesser snow amounts of 3 to 5 inches
  over southern Menominee county. Ice accumulations of around one
  tenth of an inch are expected over southern Menominee county.

* WHERE...Iron, Dickinson and Menominee Counties.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Monday to midnight CST Monday night.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for significant reductions in
  visibility at times. Because the snow will be wet and heavy,
  snow removal will be more difficult. The wet snow and ice will
  make roads very slippery.

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet
and ice are expected. This will make travel very hazardous or

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected, mainly later this afternoon and this
  evening. The snow may mix with freezing rain or freezing drizzle
  at times. Plan on difficult travel conditions, especially during
  the evening commute today. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5
  inches, with localized amounts up to 8 inches from Watersmeet to
  Trout Creek are expected. Ice accumulations of up to one tenth
  of an inch are expected, mainly over western and northern
  portions of Gogebic and Ontonagon counties.

* WHERE...Ontonagon and Gogebic Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/ Monday to 1 AM EST /midnight
  CST/ Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for significant reductions in

TO 1 PM EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected mainly later this afternoon into
  tonight. Light snow may mix with freezing drizzle this morning
  before changing to heavy snow later this afternoon. Plan on
  difficult travel conditions, including during the evening
  commute today and the morning commute on Tuesday. Total snow
  accumulations of 6 to 10 inches, with localized amounts
  exceeding a foot over higher terrain from the Michigamme
  Highlands through Negaunee are expected. Also, the freezing
  drizzle this morning may produce a thin glaze of ice on
  untreated roads and sidewalks.

* WHERE...Baraga and Marquette Counties.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Monday to 1 PM EST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 30 mph will cause
  patchy blowing and drifting snow late this afternoon and tonight.
  Significant reductions in visibility are expected. Because the
  snow will be wet and heavy, snow removal will be more difficult.
  The wet snow and ice will make roads very slippery.

  inch are expected.

* WHERE...Alger, Luce, Delta, Southern Schoolcraft and Northern
  Schoolcraft Counties.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Monday to 6 AM EST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for significant reductions in
  visibility at times. Because the snow will be wet and heavy,
  snow removal will be more difficult. The wet snow and ice will

AFTERNOON TO 6 AM EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Freezing drizzle and light
  snow will increase late this afternoon into tonight resulting in
  difficult travel conditions, including during the evening
  commute today. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches, with
  localized amounts up to 4 inches toward Chassell, and ice
  accumulations around one tenth of an inch are expected.

* WHERE...Keweenaw and Northern Houghton Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 PM Monday to 6 AM EST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will
  cause areas of blowing and drifting snow, mainly near the Lake
  Superior shore. The wet snow and ice will make roads very
  slippery.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
