000 FXUS64 KMRX 290540 AFDMRX AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MORRISTOWN TN 140 AM EDT FRI AUG 29 2014 .AVIATION... CURRENT SURFACE ANALYSIS SHOWS A WEST-TO-EAST ORIENTED QUASI- STATIONARY FRONTAL BOUNDARY OVER EASTERN KY AND SOUTHERN WV...WITH A MOIST AIR MASS OVER THE FORECAST AREA WITH DEWPOINTS IN THE MID TO UPPER 60S. THESE HIGHER DEWPOINTS (COMPARED TO PREVIOUS NIGHTS) SHOULD HELP TO PROMOTE SOME FOG DEVELOPMENT AT KTRI THIS MORNING. FOR NOW...WILL MENTION TEMPORARY IFR VISIBILITIES TOWARDS SUNRISE. THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY NORTH OF KTRI MAY DRIFT SOUTHWARD ACROSS SOUTHWEST VA AND NORTHEAST TN LATER TODAY...BEFORE LIFTING BACK TO THE NORTH AS A WARM FRONT TONIGHT AS A SOUTHERLY WIND FLOW INCREASES OVER THE REGION. THIS FRONTAL BOUNDARY MAY COMBINE WITH A MARGINALLY UNSTABLE AIR MASS TO PRODUCE SCATTERED CONVECTION THIS AFTERNOON... SO WILL INCLUDE VCTS AT KTRI THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. BUT OVERALL...VFR CONDITIONS AND LIGHT WINDS ARE EXPECTED FOR MOST OF THE TAF PERIOD AT ALL THREE TAF SITES. && .MRX WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES... NC...NONE. TN...NONE. VA...NONE. && $$ DMG
