High pressure over the area making for very light winds, with local drainage winds being the rule. This will make for prime cooling in the valleys and the cool air riding over the warm lakes will result in steam fog in a majority of these localized scenarios. KTRI has the best chances of being affected, and will go close to persistence with BR forecast for several hours. Thursday morning the vsby went down to 1/2 mile very briefly--will take it down to 1SM this morning. At KTYS and KCHA might have some light fog briefly, but will keep them at P6SM, since they are not in as favorable location as KTRI for this localized scenario. By around 12z, the fog should mix out pretty quickly at KTRI as the sun warms the surface. This afternoon, storms are expected to stay east of these sites, over the mountains.
