VFR conditions continue most of tonight as high clouds increase ahead of a cold front expected to pass through the area on Tuesday morning. Ahead of the front, winds will be out of the southwest with winds quickly turning to the northwest/west-northwest behind the front on Tuesday morning. Winds will also be strong on Tuesday with sustained winds between 10-20 kt at all sites and gusts up to 30 kt at TRI. Ceilings will also lower behind the cold front on Tuesday with some scattered brief snow showers possible at TYS and TRI with MVFR conditions expected.
