The forecast generally appears to be on track, in line with the latest obs, but some small tweaks to PoPs will be made for the morning update. It is noted that the latest HRRR runs seem to develop more convection in our western half this afternoon than the weak instability and lack of moisture in the 12Z OHX sounding might suggest. Also, model PW values at CHA this morning appear to have verified too high compared to the 12Z soundings around the region. PoPs in the forecast will be reduced to a slight chance for southern sections and the Plateau this afternoon.
