Ceilings have been hovering at the VFR/MVFR margins at all sites tonight, and will likely continue to do so for several more hours as rain exits the area. A NW off the Cumberland Plateau is having an influence on the ceilings, and the variable strength of this flow will keep variable cig heights at CHA and TYS. In any case, dry air aloft will build into the area in the mid/late morning hours, returning all sites to VFR. North winds today will be in the 10-15 kt range, with a few gusts possible to 20 kts, mainly at CHA.
