The main concern for tonight is the sharp dewpoint gradient across the area. Low level moisture remains trapped on the western side of the mountains with dewpoints in the foothills in the upper 50s and 60s. Expect fog will begin to form there in the next hour or two. The dewpoint at Chattanooga has dropped by 12 degrees over the last couple of hours as much drier air moves in from the northwest. For the update, made some changes to the hourly dewpoint and temperature grids to reflect the ongoing trends. Also, kept the mention of patchy dense fog for eastern portions of the area where the dewpoints will remains elevated.
