Main concerns is expected VLIFR conditions at TRI due to dense fog and scattered convection late this afternoon and evening. Steam fog development due to good radiational cooling conditions is expected at TRI. Models show a short-wave trough moving across the Tennessee valley late this afternoon and evening. Forecast soundings depect enough instability for scattered TS around CHA/TYS with SH possible at TRI. Weak surface ridging will keep pressure gradients weak allowing winds to stay light and less than 10kts.
