Made a few adjustments to hourly and max temperatures, PoPs, and sky cover based on current trends. A band of rain showers and embedded thunderstorms continues to move northeast across the region ahead of a cold front to our west. This activity will continue to shift eastward through the afternoon. With warmer surface temperatures ahead of this activity, enough instability may be available for a few strong thunderstorms capable of gusty winds across northeast Tennessee and parts of southwest Virginia this afternoon.
