Ceiling heights across the TN Valley are highly variable, ranging from LIFR at TRI to VFR at TYS. While uncertainty is high in such a situation, the general trend through the morning should be toward rising cigs, into the VFR range at all sites in the late morning to early afternoon hours. A cold front will be approaching today, and showers ahead of it will move into the TAF sites between 23Z and 01Z, with MVFR vis/cigs likely. Low cigs will remain after the rain has ended tonight.
