.SYNOPSIS...
A strong weather system will impact the region this afternoon and
tonight. Showers and thunderstorms will continue through early this
evening with a few strong and possibly severe. A chance of showers
and storms lingering overnight and Friday mainly over southwest
Virginia and northeast Tennessee. Temperatures will be much colder
Friday behind the strong cold front that passes through tonight.
