New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure will build
southeast over the waters today, then persist over the area
tonight and Thursday. A weak cold front will approach the Maine
coast from the northwest Thursday night. Low pressure will move
northeast into the southern waters Friday, then pass northeast
across the area Friday night into Saturday. The low will pull
another cold front east over the area late Friday into early
Saturday. Another ridge will build offshore Saturday night
through Sunday night.
