New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A series of weak low pressure
areas will track NE along a stationary front far to the S and E
of the waters tonight into Fri night. A weak high pressure ridge
will build E into the waters tonight, persist Fri, and then
dissipate Fri night. A stronger low pressure area will develop S
of the waters late Fri night into Sat, strengthen and track NE to
a position near Georges Bank late Sat and Sat night, and then
intensify further while moving NE toward the Canadian Maritimes
Sun. A high pressure ridge will build E toward the waters Sun,
and cross the waters Sun night into early Mon. Developing low
pressure will approach the region from the SW Mon night and Tue,
and move NE into the waters Tue night.
