New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Hurricane Maria is expected to
track N and then turn E and NE while passing S of the area tonight
through Thu night. S to SE swell from Hurricane Maria will impact
the area tonight into Sat. Refer to the latest National Hurricane
Center advisory for Hurricane Maria. Otherwise, a weak high pres
ridge across the area will persist tonight into Tue night. A cold
front will approach from the NW Wed night, then pass SE across the
region Thu into Thu night. Weak low pres will approach from the W
Fri, and pass E through the waters Fri night into Sat night. Another
high pres ridge will build E over the area Sat and Sat night.
