Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Middle Tennessee
National Weather Service Nashville TN
203 PM CST Fri Dec 8 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Frontal boundary is stalled far enough to our south and thereby has
kept the overrunning moisture to our south and southeast as well. The
overall trend is for the moisture to stay to our southeast. However,
a weak clipper system may spread a round of snow flurries across the
northern Highland rim and Cumberland District on Saturday.
Otherwise, the forecast will remain dry and cold through the period.
Surface troughs to our west may elevate the southwesterly flow the
next 2 afternoons. Sunday could approach marginal fire danger criteria
across Middle TN.
