Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Middle Tennessee

.DISCUSSION...

Chances for showers and thunderstorms will move in today, before
drier weather returns for the remainder of the week. Southerly winds
will pick up this morning to be around 10 to 15 mph and gusts to
around 20 mph. After the front passes through during the morning and
afternoon across the mid state, winds will become more northwesterly.
Min RH values during the afternoon hours this week look to drop into
the 30 to 40 percent range, but may drop a bit further if drier air
moves in or stronger mixing occurs.
