This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southern Connecticut and
southeast New York.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Hazardous weather not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

A frontal system will approach the region Monday night and slowly
cross the area Tuesday into Wednesday. This system will bring wind
gusts of 30 to 40 mph to the region Tuesday into Tuesday Night, with
localized gusts of 45-55 mph possible Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday
Night with any lines of convection. The slow moving front will also
bring heavy rain to the region, with 1 1/2 to 3 inches of rain likely
and localized swaths of 3 to 4 inches possible. This presents an
areawide threat for minor urban and poor drainage, with a localized
threat for flash flooding.
