...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 to 50 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut and southeast New York.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. With the
  ground still wet a few uprooted trees cannot be ruled out. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Isolated gusts of 50 to 55 mph are possible
  over the next few hours.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
