WEATHER SUMMARY FOR SOUTHEASTERN NY...NORTHEASTERN NJ AND
SOUTHERN CT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY
418 AM EDT THU JUL 10 2014

THE WEATHER PATTERN WILL BECOME LESS UNSETTLED FOR THE NEXT FEW
DAYS. A COLD FRONT WILL BE SLOWING DOWN AND STALLING OFFSHORE
THROUGH TONIGHT WITH SOME DRIER AIR AND MORE STABLE CONDITIONS
BEING PUT INTO PLACE. THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF A SHOWER OR
THUNDERSTORM FOR PARTS OF THE REGION TODAY AND FRIDAY...BUT
OVERALL...EXPECT MOSTLY DRY CONDITIONS.

THE DRY TREND CONTINUES INTO THE FIRST HALF OF THE WEEKEND AS HIGH
PRESSURE GRADUALLY BUILDS IN FROM THE WEST. TEMPERATURES DURING
THE DAY WILL REACH WELL INTO THE 80S AWAY FROM THE COAST AND CLOSE
TO 80 NEAR IT. LOWS AT NIGHT STAY WELL WITHIN THE 60S FOR MUCH OF
THE AREA.
