SURVEY SUMMARY: AN EF1 TORNADO MOVED THROUGH EXTREME NORTHERN
PONTOTOC COUNTY ABOUT 3 MILES NORTH OF BYNG. ONE RESIDENCE WAS
SIGNIFICANTLY DAMAGED WEST OF HIGHWAY 377/99. A BARN... A METAL
BUILDING AND NUMEROUS TREES WERE DAMAGED ALONG THE PATH. THE
TORNADO MAY HAVE ALSO CROSSED THE CANADIAN RIVER AND AFFECTED
PORTIONS OF FAR SOUTHERN SEMINOLE COUNTY...BUT NO DAMAGE IS KNOWN
AT THIS TIME IN THIS AREA OF SEMINOLE COUNTY.

THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES.

SURVEY SUMMARY: A SWATH OF DAMAGE OCCURRED ACROSS DAVIS WHICH
SURVEY EVIDENCE SUGGESTS WAS CAUSED BY SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS.
THE MOST SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE OCCURRED AT A CHURCH IN THE CENTRAL
PART OF DAVIS WHERE EXTERIOR WALLS WERE DESTROYED ON ONE SIDE OF
THE BUILDING. DAMAGE TO SHINGLES AND TREES WAS NOTED THROUGHOUT
TOWN.

SURVEY SUMMARY: DAMAGE CAUSED BY SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS WAS
OBSERVED FROM 5 MILES NORTHWEST TO 5 MILES NORTH OF ROFF IN
WESTERN PONTOTOC COUNTY. TREE DAMAGE WAS OBSERVED ALONG A 2 MILE
WIDE AREA ALONG COUNTY ROAD NS342. DAMAGE TO TREES AND A METAL
CANOPY ALSO OCCURRED ALONG COUNTY ROADS EW161 AND EW160 NORTH
OF ROFF.
